An Aussie DJ & Producer based in Manchester UK. From Acid baselines to disco strings, Jimmy's sets are about coming together and good times. Unafraid of a powerhouse vocal. Expect to hear soul, disco and house influences with plenty of curve balls to keep things Interesting. Since moving to Manchester Jimmy has been a resident at Manchester's iconic venue Ramona and Firehouse, along with appearances at The Warehouse Project, Joshua Brooks, Freight Island and many more. Jimmy is a self taught musician who has been honing his craft in the studio for almost a decade. His original productions and remixes have been gathering momentum online and in venues across Manchester. Keep an eye out for his recent release on Sprechen Music and his self released edits and remixes.

A playful selector, fond of unusual genre journeys and unexpected diversions. Their first love is disco, but they can be found spinning R&B, dancehall, garage, bassline, hip hop, or whatever is needed in the moment to create an ecstatic and unforgettable dancefloor experience. DJ Duckdown is a member of the Manchester collective Queer Latifah, and curates Soul Tram, a night of soul, funk, and disco.

Born and bred in Chorlton Claire Mooney is a singer songwriter with numerous albums and international airplay to her credit. Described by NME as ‘a real talent’ and Music Week as ‘a people’s songstress’ Claire mixes the political with the playful and blends it all together into a performance of serious fun.

She is a patron of a number of LGBTQ+ organisations and co-presents the ALLOUT Radio Show on ALLFM.

The Manchester Proud Chorus (formerly Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus) is an inclusive community choir, where all are welcome, whatever their sexual or gender identity, to sing with the North West’s Premier LGBTQI+ choir.

For more than 20 years they have raised their voices together joyfully celebrating their diversity through music. They are a non-auditioned, community choir that aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for people to meet and sing together, and to promote a positive image of Greater Manchester’s growing LGBTQI+ community. 

Batala Manchester is part of a Samba Reggae movement, created by Giba Goncalves in 1997, aiming to bring Brazilian Candomble percussion from Salvador to the streets of the world. 

Batala Manchester is the newest of 9 sister bands in the UK, and nearly 50 around the globe, dedicated to sharing Giba's music. As a community project, they welcome people from all walks of life, and provide opportunities to learn his captivating rhythms, weekly at Chorlton High School.

Manchester’s only Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) running club. Open to anyone, regardless of age, gender, sexuality or running ability.

Manchester Frontrunners are kicking off the Chorlton Pride celebrations by running into Chorlton, just in time for the main event!

Manchester Frontrunners will be running from Longford Park to the area around the church, where they'll do a quick warm up. Non-club members who want to join the Frontrunners can do so in the park (10 am) or at the church (10.10 am). Please email co-chairs@manchesterfrontrunners.org in advance to let them know if you plan to come along.

Chorlton Book Festival and Manchester Libraries invite you to a jam packed fun day at The Edge Theatre to celebrate Chorlton Pride. 
There'll be DrumRoots African drumming workshops, family craft sessions with Mandy Cleveland and lots more! The DrumRoots workshops are from 11-11.45am & 12-12.45pm. 
Craft workshops with Mandy Cleveland are from 2-4pm.
